Import and Export ICS

Introduction

When creating a new design using Option 2b as defined in section 3.2.2.2 of the Qualification Program Reference Document, Members may use the Import and Export feature within Qualification Workspace to modify the ICS of an existing design that has a DN or QDID.

Steps to import and export ICS

Step 1. Export the ICS from an existing design

To create a new design by importing the ICS selections of a design that has a DN or QDID, navigate to the design's associated Qualified Product Details page by using the Product Search feature in Qualification Workspace.

In the Design Details section of the Qualified Product Details page, locate and select Export ICS.

Step 2. Import the ICS into a new design

Once the ICS file is downloaded, start the Bluetooth® Qualification process and complete the Product Details step.

Once complete, select Save and go to Specify the Design.

Under the Specify the Design section, select No, I do not for the first question. Selecting this option will start the creation of a new Design.

You can then choose Import from a file at the bottom of the screen.
