What’s New

• We now ask whether a Bluetooth Qualification Consultant (BQC) assisted with the qualification process. This information will help the SIG recognize their work and keep accurate records.

• Automated support of the recent TOU update: Expiration period of Receipt Numbers (RNs) issued to Associate or Promoter members after September 9, 2025 will be immediately adjusted from 12 to 6 months if their membership changes to Adopter level – even if that means such RN has already expired.

Known issues and current limitations of Qualification Workspace

• QW/PTS integration issues:
  • Test Report files names are not automatically populated in test declaration
• Qualification option 2b erroneously blocks submission when including unmodified Design implementing a deprecated Core specification like Core 4.2 (except for Subset option which can be submitted successfully).
• Issues with draft export/import (using .bqw file): Products in the Product list will have "Internal Visibility" value reset to "No" after import 
• Known performance issues:
  • Qualified Product Details (formerly SDoC/DoC) may fail to generate for large Designs due to timeout
  • Subset creation for large Designs takes noticeably long time
• Some alerts about the status of submitted products are missing (for new submissions, unless there is a green "approved" banner, the submission is either under review or rejected, and the Product(s) are not qualified)
• When going through the Qualification process in the tool, only the bottom navigation buttons save the progress
• Deleting rejected subsets: the subset reappears after page refresh
