Product Details

Introduction

The first step in the Bluetooth Qualification Process is to provide Product Details. Here, you will enter the product details for the product(s) you are qualifying.

Required product information

For each Product, the Member must provide the following information.

Product Name

The product's commercial name, including your company's trademark. Customs officials may compare the name that appears on the product's packaging with the product name listed in the Qualified Product Database. For more information, see Product Name and Model Number Requirements.

Product Description

Enter a general description of the product.

Model Number

Enter the model number of this product. For more information, see Product Name and Model Number Requirements.

Product Publication Date

The date when the product information will become publicly available in the Qualified Product Database. The Product Publication Date may not be later than 180 days after submission. If you would like your product's information to be visible immediately after completing the qualification process, you may set this date to the same day you complete your submission.

Product Website

Enter an associated website for the product. (This field is not required)

Internal Visibility

Select whether you want the product information to be visible to other users within your company. 

Note: The internal visibility feature is intended for the qualified products after they have been submitted. If you need to collaborate on a draft, you can use the Export/Import Draft feature.
